Support Dr. Kilgore-Nolan's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Dr. Ade Akhetuamhen. My wonderful friend, Dr. Marquita Kilgore-Nolan, has a one-of-a-kind story as a first-generation college graduate, medical doctor, and Harvard business school student diagnosed with metastatic cancer.

She has overcome a lot to accomplish her goals and has extraordinary promise. Her life goal is to use her MD/MBA experiences to discover new equitable health care solutions that our world desperately needs. She graduated from Emory University with the highest honors and Yale School of Medicine with all clinical honors before matching into her top choice for Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Duke University. She is currently a third-year Duke OBGYN resident. She was also accepted into Harvard Business School, where she intends to finish her MBA after completing her residency.

Her cancer and related complications have led to several obstacles and interruptions in her training, but she has resumed residency and is pushing forward! She has endured SEVERE physical, psychological, and financial stress while caring for her patients during a devastating pandemic and simultaneously surviving cancer. She’s STILL STANDING STRONG and making progress, but we want to send her a powerful reminder that we’re ALL standing with her.
