Support Dr. Hayam's Family in Gaza's Darkest Hour

Hello dearest kind-hearted souls, I'm Rebecca Parmentier from the United States, and a friend of Dr. Hayam, an accomplished pharmacist from Gaza and a mother of two children—Nabil and Amal—who are the light of her life. Due to the ongoing war and extremely harsh living conditions, their daily life has become a struggle for safety, food, basic dignity, and physical survival. Pharmacies have closed, job opportunities have disappeared, and Dr. Hayam and her children are constantly surrounded by fear and terror. Despite everything, she remains hopeful and believes that knowledge and work are the path to progress forward. Until she can find employment, she is dependent on the kindness and compassion of others to provide food, water, and fuel for her family. I am asking you to be that light that offers hope and a warm meal, and the difference between life and death. Her family is struggling every day for food, water, shelter, and the energy to carry on through the displacements, bombings, and difficulties of living without a home or safety. This tragedy in Gaza has taken everything from their lives. If you can be that beacon of hope, you can help save them.

"I reach out humbly, not to ask for charity, but for an opportunity—a job opportunity—to use my education and experience in pharmacy to provide dignity and stability for my children.

If any job opportunity becomes available, whether remote or local, part-time or full-time, I am ready and committed. All I ask is that the door be opened."

She desperately seeks to provide the basic necessities of life for her children. While she is determined to seek employment, in these conditions it is difficult to find.
