If you ever met Dr. Charlie Cartwright, you probably walked away smiling and maybe feeling like you’d just made a new lifelong friend. That was his gift. He had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and important. Whether you met him at work, at a conference, or in passing, Charlie left you a little better than he found you.

On November 8th, 2025, after a quiet but determined battle with prostate cancer, Dr. Charlie Cartwright passed away surrounded by family and close friends. In true Charlie fashion, he faced his illness with gratitude and courage, still showing up for others, still speaking, still giving everything he had to help people live and work better together.

Over the last week, so many of you have reached out asking how you can help. Your messages, stories, and memories have been a huge source of comfort for other friends and family. This GoFundMe was created as a way for anyone who loved Charlie as a mentor, friend, speaker, or family member to support what mattered most to him: his four children.

All proceeds from this campaign will go directly to Charlie’s kids to help cover final expenses, ongoing education costs, and to give them the stability and support he worked so hard to provide while he was alive.

Charlie gave freely of his time, his energy, and his heart. He built a life around lifting people up, and we are so grateful to everyone who has shared how he impacted them.
