Hello friends. Our hospital medicine team started this fund in support of our esteemed colleague, a talented physician and a great friend Dr. Birendra Amgai. In early December of 2023, while at work he suddenly was not feeling well and had to be evaluated at our ER. The findings were shocking - our brilliant Dr. Amgai was found to have a significant brain mass. Further investigation is in progress, and the future is still uncertain; however, even in the best case scenario, Biren is facing a very serious surgery followed by a long course of rehabilitation and recovery. To support Biren and his young family we are starting this fundraiser, and would appreciate any help.
