Support Doyle's Farm Recovery After Flood
Donation protected
This is John Busigin, and I’m a paraglider pilot with the good privilege of being able to fly at a special site near Canton, NC.
Tom recently went to visit Doyle whose farm near Ashville, NC, has been devastated by the flooding. Here is his report:
“The valley was cut off for a couple of days due to the bridge being washed out. The culvert bridge to Doyle's daughters house is gone but the road by the barn is open. There are landslides on the mountain and probably trees down across the road.
This is an opportunity to shine my fellow pilots. I do not know what his insurance will cover but he needs new culvert pipes for the road to the daughters house. He also said he thought he had a lot of fence down. We should offer up a work day or several and raise some money to help with the culvert repair. Doyle looked very stressed, He told me he had lost a lot of his top soil in his fields carried away by water. We can help alleviate some of that stress by help out a family that has been so good to us.”
I agree! Let’s help their family out with some needed funds for repairs, culvert(s), etc. 100% of the funds will go directly to Doyle and his family to help with repairs. You know Doyle would never ask for anything, even though he’s been so good to us pilots for so many years!
