On September 11th, Doug suffered a massive heart attack that left him in an induced coma for several days. By the grace of God and the incredible medical team caring for him, he has made it through the scariest part, but he’s still not out of the woods yet. More surgeries and treatments are ahead, and the recovery process will be long and difficult.

If you know Doug, you know he is one of the sweetest, most caring people you’ll ever meet. He worries more about others than himself, and even now, in the hospital, he’s more anxious about bills and making sure everyone else is okay than about his own health.

We are asking for support to help relieve some of the financial burden while Doug focuses on healing. The funds will go toward household bills, medical costs, pet care and basic needs so he doesn’t have to carry that extra weight during recovery.
