Doug is one of the most hardworking and humble people we know. Just before the holidays, our family experienced a scare when Doug landed in the hospital for several days. After many tests and consultations with doctors, we received the difficult news that Doug has been diagnosed with Non Hodgkins B Cell Lymphoma. The diagnosis was a shock to all of us, especially coming at a time that should have been filled with joy and celebration.
Doug is not only a devoted husband to Kris, but also a loving father, father-in-law, and grandfather. He and Kris recently retired after a lifetime of working modest jobs and carefully planning for their future. They have always lived within their means and looked forward to enjoying their retirement together. Unfortunately, the unexpected medical expenses that come with Doug’s diagnosis were never part of their plans. The costs of hospital stays, treatments, and ongoing care are quickly adding up, creating a financial burden during an already challenging time.
