Support Doug’s Battle with Cancer

Hi there, my name is Arielle and I am making this on behalf of my husband, Doug. For those who don’t know him, Doug is a former US Army Combat Veteran who served just shy of ten years and would do anything for anyone. He is a loving and caring father to three young children and a very loved husband.

A few months ago, he was diagnosed with cancer. As more time goes by, he keeps getting diagnosed with more. He currently has leukemia, lymphoma, and breast cancer. He also just recently had a mini heart attack. Doug has three organs that are also enlarged right now due to cancer: his heart, spleen, and liver are all enlarged and have to be monitored and possibly removed/replaced. He has had to take time off of work for appointments, procedures, and surgeries.

As many know, Doug and I are never people to ask for help, so for me to do this takes a lot of courage, but medical bills are starting to pile up, and he hasn’t even started treatments yet. We are concerned about going into financial hardship because of all of this. I am a stay-at-home mom to our three children, 2, 4, and 6 years old. Doug will be starting chemo, radiation, and chemo pills to treat the leukemia and lymphoma, and will have to have surgery to remove the breast cancer. We are unsure how long he will be out of work as this is a long road ahead.
