Hi everyone, I’m Sarah. Hopefully if you’re reading this you are fortunate enough to know my awesome Uncle, Douglas Wright. He is a graduate of Newfane high school class of 1981 and now lives in Seminole Florida with his wife Katsura.

He’s a talented musician, an avid beach walker and lives a healthy lifestyle. So it came as a big surprise to everyone when he suffered an ischemic stroke a few days ago. His wife was supposed to be leaving for Japan the following day but of course she cancelled her trip so she could be by his side.

He is facing a long road to recovery, including physical therapy which for some rather maddening reason is not covered by his insurance. I’m creating this in an effort to ease the financial burden of this very difficult time that they’re going through. Any amount will be much appreciated as are your uplifting messages. Thank you
