Hi, my name is Douglas Ostrout and I was diagnosed with throat cancer. Unfortunately, they took my voice box and I can no longer speak. I did 28 radiation sessions before my voice box was removed. Now, I'm doing my chemotherapy (infusion therapy). I'm a fighter and am not and will not give up on life. Unfortunately, I am on full disability but grateful for getting disability at the same time.

My family has been my rock and loved very much. The reason for this GoFundMe page is I have been fighting this for almost 2 years and unfortunately my medical bills and household bills are overwhelming. I am grateful that there is a page where I can share my story. I feel embarrassed to do this but friends and family said trust your journey and go for it.
