We are heartbroken to share that Douglas Lugo passed away, leaving behind the people he loved most: his devoted wife and their three wonderful children, Carlos, Jessenia, and Damaris. To so many, Douglas was a respected leader in the trade show industry, dedicating more than two decades to bringing people and businesses together. Most recently, he served as Event Director for INTERPHEX, where he was admired not only for his professionalism and leadership, but for his kindness and genuine care for everyone around him. He built lasting friendships throughout the industry, and the outpouring of love and support since his passing has been a testament to the extraordinary person he was.

But above all else, Douglas was a family man. He was a loving husband and an incredibly proud father. As his family begins to navigate life without Douglas, many friends, colleagues, and members of the INTERPHEX and events community have asked how they can help. At their request, we have established this fund to support the future education of Carlos, Jessenia, and Damaris. Every contribution, large or small, will help ease the financial burden of the years ahead and honor Douglas's greatest legacy: his children and the future he worked so hard to build for them.
