Hi, my name is Cynthia Calhoun, treasure for Douglas Little League.

We are incredibly proud of all of our All-Star teams! This year, Douglas Little League had three teams representing our community at the Arizona State Tournament.

First, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors and to everyone who supported our fundraiser tournament, scratch ticket fundraiser, and concession stand throughout the season. Because of your generosity, we were able to rent three Airbnbs for our teams and provide groceries and daily meals for our players and coaches during the State Tournament. Your support made a tremendous difference, and we are truly grateful.

Now, we're asking for your support once again.

Our Juniors Baseball All-Star team has earned the opportunity to represent Douglas Little League at the Regional Tournament in Bend, Oregon! This is an incredible accomplishment, and we couldn't be more proud of these young athletes.

Unfortunately, due to a weather delay last Saturday, the Arizona State Championship game was postponed and rescheduled for tonight, July 17, 2026, instead of July 15. Because of this unexpected delay, we now have only two days to raise the funds needed to send our boys to Oregon. The Regional Tournament begins on July 22, 2026, and all travel arrangements—including flights, van rental, and lodging—must be finalized by Monday.

Due to the limited time between the State Tournament and Regionals, we are unable to hold our normal fundraising events. That is why we are reaching out to our amazing community for help in making this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible for our players.

All funds raised will be used by Douglas Little League to help cover tournament expenses for our Juniors Baseball All-Star team. Any remaining funds after the tournament will remain with Douglas Little League and will be used toward next season's league chartering fees and insurance, ensuring they continue to benefit our players and the future of our league.
