Support Douglas Flanders & Save a Minnesota Art Legacy

Douglas Flanders has been a driving force in the Twin Cities’ fine art world, championing artists and curating exceptional exhibitions through Douglas Flanders & Associates , the most distinguished gallery in Minnesota.

However, since 2019, Douglas has battled serious heart problems, enduring extended hospital stays—sometimes lasting up to two months each year. Most recently, in the winter of 2024, he was hospitalized for congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation, requiring three major surgeries.

As if these health challenges weren’t enough, in late October 2024, disaster struck when his condo’s water heater exploded, forcing him into temporary housing and requiring his entire home to be moved into storage. The financial burden of these medical and personal hardships has fallen on the gallery, putting its future at serious risk.

Douglas Flanders & Associates is more than just a gallery—it is an irreplaceable institution supporting artists, collectors, and the cultural fabric of our community. Without immediate financial support, we face the heartbreaking possibility of losing this vital space.
