Help Support My Friend in His Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer
Hey everyone — I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear friend who really needs our love and support right now.
Back in 2019, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After treatment, things looked hopeful, and we all thought he had beaten it. But recently, he got news none of us ever wanted to hear: the cancer is back, and it has progressed to Stage 4, spreading to other parts of his body.
There is some good news. Even though there isn’t a cure at this stage, there are treatments that can help slow things down and manage the disease. He’ll be starting hormonal therapy and targeted radiation soon. He’s staying positive and active, and as always, he’s facing this with incredible strength and optimism.
As you can imagine, the medical bills and related expenses are already adding up—and there are many costs still unknown. That’s why we’re coming together to support him. Whether you can donate, share this, or simply send some encouraging words, it all helps more than you know.
We’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 to help him cover treatment costs and create a little financial breathing room during an incredibly tough time.
There’s also a special fundraiser coming up at the Genesis/Miramont Athletic Club on Sunday, Dec. 7. It’ll be a cardio tennis event for all levels from 9:00–10:30 a.m., followed by a hitting session with prizes (for those who did cardio tennis) and an exhibition by local 5.0+ tennis pros. It’s $35 to participate, and space is limited. If you’d like to join in, please donate $35 to https://gofund.me/7ed59e2eb , and you will be signed up. If you cannot attend the event but would like to donate, please donate any amount other than $35. It would mean the world to him to see friendly faces there.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, for supporting him, and for being part of his community. It truly makes a difference.
