- Hi. Doug Meyers here. It's tough for me to do this, as asking for money isn't something I'm comfortable with. However, I was recently involved in a motorcycle vs. car accident. The car won. Now, not only is my bike totalled, but most of my body, below the waist, is broken, fractured, or contused.
- I was released from the hospital after almost two weeks and expect to be in a wheelchair for 6 to 8 weeks. I'm uncertain about how long I'll be out of work. Medical bills have already started arriving in the mail, and I don't have any way to pay for everyday essentials, such as food, rent, etc. Those of you who know me understand how hard it is for me to ask for help, but I see no other alternative.
