I'm raising funds for a great student, friend and musician, Doug Lawrence, who is in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant. Doug has spent 37 years in service of the Boise Philharmonic and the cultural life of Boise itself. Of course the cost of these medical procedures are staggering while also being life-threatening. I hope to return some of Doug's generosity of spirit with some funds to help him through this difficult journey.
