My name is Doug Grean, and for over thirty years, I’ve poured my heart and craft into music as a record producer, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist in New York City. Working alongside artists such as Sheryl Crow, Glen Campbell, Scott Weiland, Slash, Velvet Revolver, Stone Temple Pilots, and many others has been an extraordinary privilege.

Throughout these decades, music has been my constant companion — a source of inspiration, collaboration, and transformation. The creative process has given me opportunities to innovate, to learn, and to form lifelong bonds with talented artists and colleagues. Now feels like the perfect moment to reflect, create, and share my story with others.

The Project

I’m writing ‘My Life with Scott Weiland’s — a memoir mapping my journey through three decades in rock and roll. This book is an honest collection of stories: the exhilarating highs, the challenging lows, the laughter, the lessons, and the moments of pure creativity that shaped my life and career.

Beyond the book, I’ll record an album of original material inspired by these experiences. This is the first time I’m channeling my years of industry immersion into a record that’s entirely my own — one that celebrates the craft, passion, and professional artistry at the heart of great music.
