Support Doug Ellis's Family in Their Time of Loss

My brother-in-law Doug Ellis, my dearest friend, passed away Tuesday night. Doug has battled cancer for over 2 decades and continued to battle until the end. Doug was a devoted husband to Janie Hussey Ellis and father to Jonathan Ellis, Averell Ellis Baudier (Blake Baudier), and granddaughter Betty. He loved and cherished his family. A love that will never be relinquished.

Janie and Doug have a large extended family which includes Doug' s father, Steve and Step-Mother, Haydee Ellis, nephews Ian and Colin Ellis and cousin Clayton. His mother Betty, and brother Steve, died previously

Other family Members are his Brother and Sister in laws, Sean Hussey (Susan), David Hussey (Kathy), Becky Hussey (Jerry), Kate Hussey, Lili Hussey Courtney (Tim), Helen Hussey Rozanski (Ricky), Margaret Hussey Allen.

Doug and Janie have had a host of friends for decades, close friends, dedicated friends, the kind of friends we all want in our lives. There are too many to name, but I know each of you know who you are.

Doug and Janie are loved by so many, and they have given us all a lifetime of love and friendship to share. They provided us their "Zen Porch" for us all to enjoy. It was a peaceful porch in the trees. Doug and Janie are the ultimate host. God and religion have played an important roll in both Doug and Janie's life. I know the gates are open wide and he's sitting on the porch.
