Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Dorothy Lanier and if you know me, you’ll know that my dad is a very important person in my life. He’s helped me in so many ways being not only a father but a friend. Recently, he was diagnosed with brain tumors, and the tumors have progressed to the point where he's now disabled: he can no longer walk and has difficulty speaking. His medical team has recommended a biopsy and possible surgery to try to save his life.

My dad retired to the Philippines with my mom, where the costs for these treatments are dramatically high. We simply don’t have the means to cover them. Reaching out for help is never easy, but sometimes life’s challenges leave us with no other choice.
