On Saturday night, Jan. 17th, my friends Dorothy and Maria were among many tenants that lost their apartment building to a fire. You can read more about the story HERE.
While thankfully all tenants made it out safely, the building was a total loss. Dorothy and Maria were able to make it out safely, but tragically a few of their pets are still unaccounted for.
This fundraiser is to help them while they navigate this devastating loss and begin finding a new home for them and their fur babies. While of course sentimental items cannot be replaced, funds will help relieve immediate necessities like clothing, food, supplies for the pets, temporary housing arrangements, personal essentials, etc.
Dorothy and Maria have always been the kind of friends that if you needed help or a friendly presence nearby, they were there for you. Now they need help. Every donation and share for their cause is very appreciated.
Alright, Village. Let's do our thing!
