Hello co-workers, friends and caring souls, I'm reaching out with a request for your help and support. This summer, my employee & friend was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer- Gastric Adenocarcinoma Signet-Ring Cell Carcinoma- and she's embarking on a challenging journey filled with uncertainty and difficult decisions.

This summer, immediately after Doris’ diagnosis she started chemo treatments. After her first round, we received upsetting news that the treatments were not working and the tumor grew larger. She decided to change to a more aggressive treatment plan. In November, we received an update and we are happy to say that the new chemo plan is helping and has started to shrink the tumor! We are being very optimistic but we know this may be a long journey.

Cancer not only takes a toll on one's health but also on their finances and emotional well-being. The medical bills, treatments, and all the associated costs are quickly adding up. To ensure that she gets the care and support she needs, the family has launched a GoFundMe campaign.
