My Aaka Doris, who is 89 years old, had hip surgery in December due to an accident she had while on vacation. She had another surgery recently to remove the metal from her hip due to complications. She currently needs a sera steady to help her transfer from the bed to her wheelchair/bathroom/shower etc. She doesn’t qualify for Medicaid so it would be out of pocket. We’ve seeked donations for this but either got denied or haven’t heard back yet.

We are currently looking for a place for her to stay while she is in physical/occupational therapy and any extra funds will be going towards other medical expenses.
