On Monday, December 29, 2025, my son Dorian Price was rushed to the hospital from work. He was dehydrated, disoriented, having trouble forming sentences, and complaining of a bad headache. Upon arrival at the emergency room, his blood pressure was extremely high, and he had a blood glucose level of 400. After many tests, it was determined he had suffered a mild stroke, high cholesterol, and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. He spent multiple days in the hospital, and while his blood pressure has returned to normal, his glucose levels remain high. Now that he is home, Dorian is beginning cognitive and speech therapy to aid in his recovery. This has been an unexpected and challenging time for Dorian as he faces a long road ahead, adjusting to his new health needs and ongoing care. This medical crisis has turned his world upside down as he begins the road to recovery.
The funds raised through this campaign will help cover mounting medical expenses, including hospital bills, essential medical supplies such as insulin and glucose monitoring equipment, and rehabilitation services needed to support his recovery. These services may include cognitive, physical, and speech therapy to help him regain strength, function, and independence.
Because of his condition, Dorian may be unable to work for some time. Contributions will also help offset his recurring monthly expenses so he can focus fully on healing without the added stress of financial instability.
Any amount you are able to give will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping Dorian in your thoughts and prayers. Our family is deeply grateful for your compassion, support, and kindness during this time.
Thank you for standing with us as Dorian begins his journey toward recovery.
