For those of you who know Dorene Juvenal, you know she is always the first to step up and help others—and never asks for help or anything in return. Today, her family and I are asking for help and prayers for Dorene and her family during an incredibly difficult time.

After the heartbreaking loss of her son, John, in April 2024, Dorene was diagnosed with cancer and began the fight of her life. She endured multiple surgeries and countless challenges, yet through it all, her faith and positive outlook on life never wavered. The family rejoiced when she was told she was cancer-free.

Sadly, in September 2025, after a fall at home and ongoing leg pain, Dorene received devastating news: her cancer has returned. She now has three large tumors that are severely impacting her quality of life. One is attacking the bones in her back, and another is cutting off circulation in her leg, making it difficult for her to walk. She faces a long and painful road of treatments ahead.

During this time, Dorene is unable to work and will lose her health insurance on March 1st unless she can cover $3,000 per month until she is able to return. Her husband, Matt, has also had to take time off work to care for Dorene and her mother, which has been financially difficult as well.

We are humbly asking for prayers and any monetary support you are able to give to help ease this financial burden so Dorene can focus fully on healing and recovery. The money would go for past and future medical bills, medical insurance costs, and travel expenses for treatments.
