Doreen’s Story:

Our dear friend Doreen Windus-Anderson has always been a very giving and private person, but she needs our help.

Doreen has been living in Florida since 2014 and employed as a home care provider for elderly people by creating their meals with so much love.

In February of this year, Doreen was diagnosed with Oral Cancer and has moved back to Minnesota. Doreen has had major surgery and is currently under going chemotherapy and radiation treatments with the support of her family and friends.

As you can imagine - the financial burden of this major health care crisis coupled with the significant costs of moving, having to quit a job she absolutely loved and just "life" in general has been overwhelming.

Funds raised will be used to help with critical health care costs, deductibles and co-payments, moving expenses and general living expenses until she can be back on her feet to help others again in a job she loves.

Being the private person she is, Doreen does not want to have a benefit but has acknowledged a need for financial help.
