Support Doreen Durkin’s Battle Against Melanoma

Dear friends and family, we have joined together to create a GoFund me for Doreen to use for the growing amount of medical expenses after receiving a devastating diagnoses of Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. For those of you who know Doreen, know of her humor, generosity, and loving heart. She is an incredible mother, grandmother, sister and friend that cherishes her loved ones with unconditional love and support. Doreen goes above and beyond for others with compassion. She has been there for many of us when we needed help, but now is the time that we come together to support Doreen during this journey.

Doreen is incredibly blessed with people in her life and has an amazing support system. Unfortunately, cancer, especially such an aggressive one like melanoma, is a financial burden no one is prepared to battle. Doreen is undergoing radiation as well as immunotherapy. The treatment is extremely intensive and as you can imagine, the financial burden of copayments, treatment costs, and travel expenses are immense and growing. Doreen has had multiple hospital stays and has had periods of time where she hasn’t been able to work. We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial strain on Doreen.
