I've known and worked with Yaa Owusu for 10 years. She is a wonderful mother and human being. Right now, her daughter, Doreen Owusu is experiencing sudden and intense medical issues that have required emergency surgery and for Doreen to be an inpatient at Crouse and Upstate Medical University Hospital. She will continue as an inpatient for the foreseeable future. Some details have been purposely left out to respect the family's privacy.

Yaa is taking care of her grandson, Obrempong, 7, in Doreen's absence. She is also resuming all of the financial responsibility for their home, vehicles, and medical expenses. Being out of work may cause Doreen to lose her medical coverage. I'm hopeful if this happens, your donations can help her pay for her insurance premiums so she can continue care.

This family has incurred significant medical bills and will continue to until these issues have resolved. This family's deep faith in God has helped carry them through these challenges daily.
