Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time, and we’re asking for your support. My sister, Dora, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma. As she prepares to begin chemotherapy, she and her husband Jorge, a proud Marine veteran, are facing not only an emotional battle, but a financial one as well.

Dora is the kind of person with a big heart. She’s funny, full of life, and always the one making others laugh even in the toughest moments. She is also a loving and devoted daughter, a role she holds close to her heart. She’s not just an amazing sister, but a dedicated mom to their three older children, Alex, Nana, and JJ, who love her deeply and are standing by her side through this fight. Jorge has always been someone who puts others first, serving his country and supporting his family with strength and dedication. Now, he is doing everything he can to care for Dora while also trying to keep their household afloat on a single income.

Unfortunately, their medical benefits will not cover all of the costs associated with treatment, medications, and ongoing care. Between hospital visits, treatments, and daily living expenses, the financial strain is overwhelming.
