MOM OF FOUR SONS FACES FORECLOSURE: IMMEDIATE NEED

With her consent, I am bringing my neighbor and friend, Dora T. to the Go Fund Me giving community.

Dora has been unemployed for over a year year due to a job related injury, recovery time and disability She also suffers from injuries and surgeries resulting from two auto accidents last year, neither of which was she at fault. She has been paying medical bills and caring for her sons as best as she can. She has owned her home since 2007 and has kept up with her payments until getting behind this past year.

She is now facing foreclosure on her home if she cannot pay the demanded minimum of $8,500 to get her up to date on her payments. With current mortgage bills added to her outstanding balance, she needs at least $10,000. Dora has been applying for remote jobs and making tamales and selling them around town to get any cash she can make. She has no family support, and minimal community connections. Though she struggles with anxiety over the thought of losing her home, she is full of faith and prayer, trusting that God will meet her need fully.

Perhaps this community will see her story and many will feel led to help her meet this need to keep her home in 2025.

In addition to cash, Dora needs a job that she can do from home as she juggles doctor appointments, physical therapy, recovery from disability, and her sons' needs. If anyone knows of a remote position that she could consider, she would be a great candidate (bilingual Spanish) as a remote customer sales associate, a booking agent or medical transcriptionist. She has taken university classes in management and sales. She also has a background in being a trusted caregiver.

These are Dora's words in a text she sent me when I suggested setting up this fund: "Thank you. Thank you. People with the giving spirit can help us today, tomorrow..... I am very positive. You never know who knows, and we can pay our house payment in total. With God everything is possible. The whole money we receive will go straight to our house."

Arrangements have been made to make this donation directly to Dora, so as to not have the fee removed again on those amounts. So ultimately, 100% of your donation will be counted towards her goal.
