My name is Donte Rico, and I was recently diagnosed with renal (kidney) cancer. Receiving this news has turned my world upside down, and as I begin the journey through treatment, my family and I are facing challenges we never expected. Between doctor visits, tests, medications, and the treatment process itself, the medical costs will be and anre already adding up quickly. On top of that, everyday bills don’t stop, even when life does.

This fundraiser is meant to help relieve some of the financial pressure so I can focus fully on fighting this cancer and staying strong for the people who depend on me. The money raised will go directly toward hospital bills, treatment expenses, medication, and essential household needs—including rent, utilities, and transportation to and from medical appointments. With the effects of treatment limiting my ability to work consistently, this support truly makes a life-changing difference.
