“Anything is possible if you believe” said my brother Don Blazevich, affectionately known as “Mr. B,” by the hundreds of elementary kids he taught over the last 30+ years. Now we can show Mr. B that we believe by showing an outpouring of our support!
A parent of one of my brother’s students said, “Don is one of the most uncommonly unselfish, non-judgmental, and inspirational people I have ever known. The well-being of his students and friends are always at the forefront of Don’s heart. There is nothing that Don wouldn’t do to help another human. I can honestly tell you, that if your child was to be placed into a classroom taught by Don, it would be an absolute stroke of luck. And one that you would forever be grateful for.”
Unfortunately, Don had to leave his teaching career to fight Stage 4 terminal colon cancer. Throughout this journey, Don has kept his belief that - “Anything is possible” – even now as Doctors told Don they’ve exhausted all treatment options covered by insurance, and the only treatment left will be out-of-pocket, costing $4,000 or more per month. This financial burden is very challenging on a teacher’s income that has been significantly reduced when cancer forced Don on long-term disability.

Your donation will allow Don to continue his treatments and alleviate the strain and anxiety that he is experiencing during this already stressful time. If there is anything you can give, whether it's a few dollars, an inspirational message or sharing this page with your friends, all who love and have been inspired by Don will be truly grateful.
Don’s relentless spirit of optimism has inspired so many others facing cancer diagnoses or other challenging life setbacks. While valiantly fighting the battle of his life, Don has brought his fun-loving, joyful spirit to each chemo session dressed in themed costumes to bring laughter and gratitude to each treatment.
Let’s rally around Don and show him what he has always shown us, “Anything is possible if you believe” …
