️ Help Free Donovan: Detained, Disabled, and Fighting for His Life
My name is Leisa, and I’m raising funds for my cousin Donovan Keane, who has been detained by ICE for over a month. Donovan is an asylum seeker who followed all legal procedures—including checking in with immigration authorities. Instead of receiving support, he was detained and placed in the Elizabeth Detention Center in New Jersey.
At first, our family was able to visit him and offer comfort. But without warning, Donovan was relocated across the country to the Denver, Colorado Detention Center—isolated from everyone who loves him.
While in ICE custody, Donovan suffered a mild stroke. He is now paralyzed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair. His health is fragile, and his spirit is being tested in ways no one should endure.
We are raising funds to:
• Secure legal representation for Donovan’s release
• Cover immigration court fees and documentation
• Support his medical needs and safe housing upon release
This is a fight for justice, dignity, and basic human rights. Donovan deserves care—not confinement. He deserves freedom—not fear.
Please assist in any way you can. No donation is too small. Every act of kindness brings us closer to reuniting Donovan with his family and restoring his health and hope.
With gratitude,
Leisa
