My name is Donovan and since the age of 11, I've dreamed of one day teaching martial arts and sharing the transformative power it’s had in my own life. That dream is finally within reach—and I need your help to make it a reality.

I'm in the process of opening my own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym, Black Hole Grappling Club, right here in the Jersey Village area of Houston, TX. After years of training, teaching, and falling in love with the art, I’m ready to create a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together, train hard, and grow stronger—physically, mentally, and as a community.

To open the doors, I need help covering the cost of essential startup items—namely, high-quality mats and basic training equipment. My goal is to raise $15,000 in the next 60 days.
