Hello Everyone! Dawn Zumwalt here, and I’m fundraising for my dad, Donnis Zumwalt, who is currently going through the process of being approved for a life-saving liver transplant.

My dad is one of the toughest, most hard-working people I know — the kind of man who never asks for help, even when he really needs it. He’s always shown up for others, and now I’m hoping we can show up for him.

This journey has been overwhelming, emotionally and financially. The transplant itself, the evaluations, the travel, the time off work — it all adds up fast, and unfortunately, insurance doesn’t come close to covering everything. That’s why I’m asking for help: to give my dad the best chance possible at recovery and a longer life.
