Update: Donna is being moved to rehab today!

I am Donna Miller Brookshear's little sister. On June 29, 2024 she went on a short hike to see her favorite thing, a waterfall. While going to the falls, Donna had an accident and fell off the trail and over the edge of the cliff. She fell approximately 40 feet into a very shallow pool of water. She struck her head on a log when she hit. Only by the grace of God, she survived the fall with several broken bones, many bruises, and lacerations. She has had one surgery to fix the damage to her hand. She will be moved into a rehab facility soon but will be unable to work for quite a while. Donna has an adult daughter thst requires 24/7 care and this will prevent her husband Dan from working much. Donna took steps at work to have income should she get hurt by getting long term disability insurance but there will be a gap in the end of time she will get paid for and beginning of long term payments. It is also unknown how much they will owe in medical bills. If you know Donna, she feels she doesn't deserve anything from anyone but would appreciate any help they can get. If you can only say a prayer, that is better than anything else. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
