On June 26, 2025, while helping my long-term patients and speaking with social security, I suffered a serious accident at work. I slipped on an extremely wet floor and injured both my foot and knee on the same side. Since then, my life has changed dramatically. I have been unable to return to work, and daily activities like climbing stairs have become a real struggle. The recovery process has been long and difficult, and I have been here since August 14, 2025, trying to heal and find a way forward.
The impact of these injuries has gone beyond just the physical pain. My mental health has suffered from the isolation and uncertainty, and the continued support I once relied on is slowly slipping away. Now, I am facing the very real possibility of having to sell my home just to make ends meet. It’s a frightening and overwhelming situation, but I am doing my best to stay hopeful and keep moving forward.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to ask for help and for the support of my trusted friend and my unwavering brother, Brian Bly. Any support—whether through a donation or by sharing my story—would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me during this difficult time.
