After my double mastectomy, I thought I’d be cancer free and able to return to work and normal life. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. I experienced many complications after surgery, and recently learned that my cancer has spread. This news has been devastating and has turned my world upside down.

Because of nerve damage and cording, I now have limited mobility and struggle with daily tasks. My doctors have told me I will need more chemotherapy and radiation, which means a longer recovery and more time away from work. Not being able to work has created a huge financial burden, and I am worried about how I will cover my living expenses while I focus on healing.
