I’m creating this go fund me for my best friend & coworker Donna Schauerman.

She was bitten by a dog on July 8th, 2025.

She underwent her 1st surgery July 16, she had broken bones and needed pins placed.

The pain continued to be completely unbearable for her, she visited several urgent care centers, and Emergency rooms who sent her home stating the pain was just the swelling.

Finally she visited Harrisburg hospital and demanded an MRI be done. Turns out she had infection in her bones.

Her 2nd surgery was on July 28 to clear the bone infections.

She currently has a port placed and is hooked up to IV antibiotics and will be needing therapy once her hand is done healing. She has been out of work since July 8th without any pay.

If all goes as planned from here on out, her doctors are telling her at least another 6 weeks with no working.

As you can imagine, her bills are all piling up.
