From ICU to Healing—Donna Needs Our Help

Our beloved Donna Hoffman Rodriguez is in the fight of her life. On June 11th- What began as a sudden swelling escalated into septic shock, and other life-threatening conditions that placed her in critical condition in the ICU in Fort Collins, Colorado.

As of today, July 7, Donna is out of the ICU and is showing significant signs of recovery. Her heart rhythm has stabilized, and she is now eating regular meals without the need for a feeding tube. Her kidney function is also beginning to improve, though she will continue with dialysis for the time being. The medical team is optimistic about her progress and is actively exploring rehabilitation options, with the possibility of transitioning to a facility by the end of this week.

Throughout this challenging time, Donna has remained strong and determined. She is alert, engaging, and committed to her recovery process. Her resilience is truly inspiring, and we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and prayers from all of you.

But now comes the long, difficult road to recovery, including continued dialysis, rehabilitation, and constant medical oversight for the foreseeable future.
