A few years ago, my life changed forever. My husband—my partner, my best friend, and the father of our children—passed away shortly after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer. His illness came suddenly and progressed quickly, leaving us devastated and unprepared. Without life insurance, I was left to navigate not only overwhelming grief, but also a difficult financial reality while raising our children on my own. Since then, I’ve done everything I can to rebuild. Step by step, I’ve worked hard to create stability for my family and move us forward after such a heartbreaking loss. Just as things were finally starting to improve, I received another life-altering diagnosis: Stage IV ovarian cancer. Once again, my world has been turned upside down. I am now facing an intense and ongoing battle that requires extensive treatment, including chemotherapy and continuous medical care. The emotional toll is heavy—but the financial burden is equally overwhelming.
