Support Donna Hamill's Family as She Enters Hospice

Hi. My name is Kathryn Lariviere and I'm raising funds to help support Donna's family.

Six months ago, Donna was a busy vibrant lady - a wife to Nancy Smith, a mom to 5 adult children, a grandma to 5 beautiful grandchildren (one that she and Nancy are raising), a full-time social worker for Caromont's Courtland Terrace, a beloved member of our extended family, and a valued friend to so very many people.

Today, Donna entered hospice care.

Donna's family has gone from 2 incomes to only 1. As Donna hasn't been able to work in the last couple of months, Nancy is having to make monthly payments over $1700 for COBRA insurance coverage. There are new expenses for Donna's care and comfort at home. As Nancy learns how to become a single grandparent raising a 4-year-old with complex needs, she faces additional expenses for Brayden's care.

Yesterday, the doctor came in to see Donna for the last time. Donna asked him if he had saved anyone's life today. He said that he had saved one. She replied, "Well don't think of me as one you lost. I'm just going up to the sky."
