Donna, our beloved mother has had her world turned upside down recently. This summer, we were told our mother has brain cancer, and it didn’t look good as far as the prognosis goes. We had to have extensive testing done including a craniotomy so we could determine what kind of treatment she could receive & to know which grade tumor she has. Finally, we received the news that our mother has a rare tumor that is inoperable and she is not a candidate for CyberKnife. She has a rare benign tumor called an Oligodendroglioma. There is hope, though. With prayers and our village, we are at a stage 2 but she has to start immediate Radiation therapy, followed up by 10 months of chemotherapy. Radiation therapy will be every day for 6 weeks in Sacramento & with all the uncertainty, we are asking for help while we all rearrange our lives to help get our mom to and from Sacramento everyday. My mom’s husband has been taking time off to get her to and from appointments, and we are trying to help out anyway we can. I want to thank everyone who has already donated, prayed and shared this account for us. If you have the means to help by donating, thank you so much… we would like to kindly ask for a share, a prayer or any donation to help keep our mom from anymore stresses. Thank you.
