Donna Davis, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time after being in remission since 2011/2012; this GoFundMe is intended to help support her and her husband Butch in their fight against Breast Cancer. I am honored to be reaching out to you in hopes that we can work together as a community to help support them in their time of need.

Donna went in to get some concerning lumps checked out by her primary physician and then went in for a mammogram, CT, blood work, and a biopsy, and bone scan. She also went in for a breast MRI to make sure the lumps were only in her armpit.

Her cancer specialist said that he cannot diagnose her breast cancer with a any stage because it can't go in and measure the "tumors" because it's actually her glands that are enlarged.

After all of her testing, her cancer specialist said she needed to have a port placed immediately and to start chemo right away. Her first round is on Nov. 13 and an infusion a couple days after. She will have a total of 4 treatments, 1 every 3 weeks.

Sometime in early 2025 she will have surgery to remove said tumors and then have testing done to make sure the cancer has been removed and there aren't any more active cells.

As with all medical diagnosis’, there is vast unknown and much uncertainty. She has a more rare form of breast cancer. One that her cancer doctor hasn't had to deal with before. But he remains hopeful that we will get rid of this nasty beast, yet again.

Donna is deserving of our empathy, prayer, and support. Our family wants nothing more than to see her kick cancer’s ass and leave it in the dust. Lets be her rock and walk this road alongside her!
