Donna Anzalone is a cherished member of the Soho Bagels and Cafe family, known for her kindness and the warmth she brings to everyone she meets. Recently, Donna had to undergo emergency surgery to have her appendix removed. This unexpected health crisis has left her unable to work, and to make matters more challenging, our cafe was closed for a 10-day vacation right before her surgery, causing her to miss a paycheck. Now, Donna will be out on medical leave for at least another week as she recovers.

Donna is the heart and soul of our team, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. This sudden loss of income is a big financial blow for her, and we want to do everything we can to ease her worries while she focuses on healing. The funds raised will go directly toward helping Donna cover her bills—like her cable and other essentials—so she doesn’t have to stress about making ends meet during this tough time.
