Support Donita & Katelynn After Brian's Loss

Donation protected
I am the first cousin of Donita and second cousin of Katelynn Meyer. I wanted to establish this GoFundMe campaign to provide support with the bills and necessities that they will face in this challenging situation. Brian was the primary provider in his and Donita’s relationship, and his loss will undoubtedly leave a void. They will not be having a traditional funeral, but instead, a celebration of life on July 26, 2025, which will serve as a beautiful tribute to Brian’s memory. In line with Brian’s wishes, they will be having him cremated, with the costs ranging from $1,200 to $1,500, and an additional $250 for the urn they have chosen. Furthermore, there will be other expenses associated with the celebration of life, including refreshments, food, photographs, and a book of life for guests to sign and share their memories of Brian. This is indeed one of the most difficult experiences anyone can face, and I want to ensure that Donita and Katelynn do not have to navigate this journey alone. If you are in a position to offer financial support, please know that any contribution, no matter how big or small, will be deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. “From an extremely heartbroken daughter and an extremely heartbroken fiancé….. This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life and it will continue to affect me for the rest of my life…. That man in the hospital bed is my daddy. The one who raised me and spoiled me. The one who was most excited when he found out my son was a boy…. My son’s best friend….. My dad suffered a hemorrhagic stroke from high blood pressure on 1/26 and it changed my life forever. He suffered the stroke which caused him to be in a medically induced coma for the last 3.5 months. He has gone through many life-
saving measures. My mother and I have tried multiple things in hopes that they would help heal him. This has been quite the roller coaster ride. When the highs were high and the lows were extremely low. He has fought so damn hard. He has used every strength in his body to fight this fight. Unfortunately, his body is losing the fight. The infection in his body is causing more problems and more suffering…. His body is getting tired and entering the last stages of life. So now we’re just making him comfortable and as pain-free as possible…. For the past 3 1/2 months, my dad has been the strongest man I know….. He will forever continue to be….. My dad said the two events he hated the most were funerals and weddings…. He’s been to too many funerals and weddings take too long…. My mother and I have decided to have him cremated and hold a celebration of life on the day after his birthday. That day being July 26th. My mother and I are asking if anyone would like to help us with the costs that would be wonderful. If you can’t, just reaching out means more than you know. My dad meant the world to us and his legacy will live on forever. Thank you all for your time, effort, and kind words in this journey. We love you all. -Katelynn & Donita ❤️” ~Katelynn Meyer
