Hello everyone, I'm Doni. This isn't something I'd typically do, but I'm in need of help. A few months back, I bought a trailer to put on my parents' land to begin my own homeowner's journey. To get the trailer and have it moved, I had to get a loan from my bank. The land was not cleaned, so my father and I, with the help of others, cleared the land in preparation for the trailer being moved. Between purchasing the trailer, the cost of having it moved and set up, and the cost of building a pad, I went through my loan quickly. With this still needing power, septic, and water, and a few minor repairs and a kitchen remodel, I have tapped my funds dry, and all I have left is water and some plumbing to be able to move in. The water company charges $2300 to install a new water meter, and times are hard, and I just don't have it. I've had help from a lot of people this far, and I appreciate everyone who's had a hand in helping Kristen, Ansli, and me get closer to moving into our home. I really appreciate my parents for housing us for the past few months. I'm not typically the one to ask for help, but here I am. With $2500, I should be able to pay for the water meter and the few plumbing needs to be able to have water in the home. I know times are hard for everyone, and it's coming into the holiday season. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
