Support Donavon Hopper's Heart Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
As some of you know, our friend Donavon Hopper was admitted to the hospital on May 16th. It was discovered that he had a heart attack and also had pneumonia and RSV. They placed 2 stents that day, but it didn't seem to resolve his heart issues.
On May 17th, he had an echogram done that showed his mitral valve was leaking. Because he also has RSV and pneumonia, they had to wait a few days for surgery.
Today, May 22nd, he is having open-heart surgery to replace his mitral valve. He will possibly need other surgeries to follow (pacemaker).
Donavon is the main provider for his family and will be out of work for quite some time.
Any help we can give his family would be greatly appreciated. Please consider donating if you can. If not, sharing helps as well. Thank you!
UPDATE: Donavon had a rough day yesterday. His blood pressure took a nose dive and they were afraid he was bleeding internally. They took him back into surgery and got him stabilized. Although he is doing better today (Friday May 23rd), he remains heavily sedated, on a ventilator and his chest is still open. Please continue to pray.
