Support Donald's Recovery from Strokes
Donation protected
On the morning of April 10th, 2025, Donald Thompson woke up with extreme dizziness and nausea. After trying to stand up, he had no sense of balance or coordination and was vomiting with blurred vision. His wife, my best friend of 35 years, Tara called an ambulance. After a CT scan and MRI it was determined that he had multiple embolic strokes. Upon further testing, the CT scan found the main artery in his neck had dissected . As a result , a blood clot traveled to his brain and broke off into 5 smaller blood clots. Ultimately causing 5 embolic strokes in the back of his brain. This part of the brain is what controls balance and coordination. He is unable to walk or stand by himself due to being dizzy and unstable. Once he is released from the hospital he will be spending a couple of weeks at a rehabilitation center to receive therapy. He drives for a living, and won't be able to work for sometime! Please consider helping anyway you can, whether it be by donation or by sharing. Donald and Tara have a 3 year old autistic son at home whom is Donald's best buddy! Any help will be greatly appreciated to help offset the cost of bills, copays, gas, etc. Thank you ❤️
