Hi, my name is Chad, and im creating this fundraiser for our dear friend, Donald.

On monday morning, Donald's life changed in an instant when he suffered a massive stroke. He was first taken to OSF St James, where this situation quickly became critical. From there he was life flighted to Bloomington for further testing, where an MRI revealed the devastating news - a massive stroke.

As his condition worsened, Donald was once again life flighted to Peoria and admitted in the Neuro ICU. Doctors acted quickly, rushing him into emergency brain surgery to relieve the pressure and give him the best possible chance to survive.

Right now Donald is fighting, and the road ahead is uncertain. What we do know is that his recovery will be long and difficult, requiring extensive medical care, rehabilitation and time away from work.

Donald is not only a great friend to so many - hes a devoted family man, to his loving wife, casie, and father to his three boys, Ryan, Donnie, and Theo. His family is his world, and now they face an incredibly challenging and uncertain time together.

Donald has always been someone who shows up for others - kind, hardworking, and dependable. Now, he needs our support more then ever.

We are asking for help to cover mounting medical expenses, ongoing care, and to help support Casie and their boys while Donald focusing on healing and recovery.
