Support Donald Decker's Heart Surgery Journey

Our names are Donald and Sharon Decker. We have served our community of Walton and Okaloosa for 40 years as a husband and wife team, doing drywall. Unfortunately, in 1997, Donald suffered an acute, sudden death heart attack. With the proper care, he was able to recover and continue our life. Then, in 2008, he underwent a triple bypass of the left side of the heart. With the blessing of the Lord, he came through that with great success. We continued to work, and more blessings came with being able to adopt two beautiful children. Then, this year of 2025, heart issues came upon him one more time. Donald has now been referred to Birmingham for a triple bypass of his right side artery under the care of a great team of cardiologists. We are thankful, but they are unable to help him in our local area. So, as it stands, we have two children at home, and hubby and I are on our way to the University of Alabama in Birmingham. On the 22nd of July, we are not sure of his fate at this point. This one will be in God's timing. Donald's heart has taken a toll. For years, we have had no life insurance because of his condition; the premiums were way too high. We know he will have many, many hospital bills. We are truly concerned about our bills being paid. Our company will not be able to work for several months, and we desperately need to keep our home and bills paid so our children have a home.
